Fellowship of Reconciliation

EmailThe Fellowship of Reconciliation , England (FoR) is an ecumenical Christian peace charity which undertakes education work with the Christian community on peace and conflict issues. FoR began as a response to the challenge of the First World War and while opposing war and militarism, FoR strives to promote those things which make for peace and justice. Its focus is to build - in the words of our founders - 'a world order based on love'.
FoR aims to support and affirm all those with a commitment to peace and nonviolence. We believe that through understanding the roots and causes of conflict, we can successfully advocate and campaign for nonviolent conflict resolution and on behalf of the victims of war and injustice. FoR, England is part of the International Fellowship of Reconciliation which has approximately 70 branches, groups and affiliates in 40 countries across the world.
