Institute for Law & Peace (INLAP) is a small charity of concerned citizens interested in law, peace and justice both in the UK and throughout the world.

We aim to raise awareness of these issues by:

• providing useful research and information,
• publicising international, domestic and military laws and treaties relating to armed conflict,
• bringing this body of law to the attention of government departments, service personnel and other officials, and co-operating with them in discharging their legal responsibilities,
• fostering appreciation of the shared values which underlie these laws and treaties,
• assisting individuals, groups and other bodies by sharing experience, expertise and support.
