Quaker Peace & Social Witness

EmailAs Quakers we are impelled by our faith to make our lives an active witness for peace and justice. Our testimony to equality, justice, peace, simplicity, sustainability and truth challenges us to alleviate suffering and create positive social change.
Quaker Peace & Social Witness works with and on behalf of the Religious Society of Friends in Britain. It translates faith into action, based on the belief in the worth of every person and faith in the power of love to overcome violence. It seeks to address systemic causes of violence at all levels, locally, nationally and globally; to build a culture of peace with justice based on non-violent change; and to engage in non-violent peacemaking and peacebuilding.
